need some advice

me and a classmate are turning a grill into a computer for a competeion and we're having problems puting in th cd drive where it comes up and out to acess it.
any one have suggestions?

Wow looks like quite some idea! Maybe have it facing up (like a G4 cube) so no tray comes out you just need to slide in the disc?
