It comes to me strictly at night and it always seems to be right before I begin to fall asleep.
I get this "rush" like I'm hopped up on caffeine... I kind of get the chills and my chest has a constant pinching feeling. With the chills comes a stretching fit where I keep stretching but it doesn't make anything feel better but I feel the need to do it.
It's starting to piss me off. Come in the day time so I can distract myself... not right before I fall aslleep so I'm alone, it's quiet, I get paranoid and lose sleep when I need to be up in a few hours. fuhjidfksdf

Maybe that's your body trying to expel excess energy right before bed? Not sure, but it kind of sounds like it.
I've had similar issues. Its REALLY annoying and incredibly frustrating. You just want to reach out and strangle something.. but then you realize that's probably not best for your personal health. lol
One way I deal with it is I just make sure I'm dead tired before I go to bed. Although sometimes that has the opposite effect, like if I do it right before bed. I'll be like "grrr, too much energy" so I'll run around the block a few times, but then I feel alive and totally awake. ><
Anyways, might be worth a shot at least. Just try to deplete all your energy before bed. That or maybe take some sleep medication?
Sounds like you might have sleep apnea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_apnea). Basically, when you start falling asleep your body stops breathing...and then freaks out because you're not breathing... I have a couple friends with it, and it's fairly easy to manage (I forget exactly how, but I'm sure the almighty Google knows :P ). I used to do the same thing sometimes when I would fall asleep..sitting...in a hard chair...definitely not in class.. :whistler: just as I would start to doze off, suddenly my heart would be beating a-mile-a-minute, and I would be out of breath. Really not the most comfortable thing in the world.

I have noticed this happening to me as well, usually when I am getting an average of 2-3 hours of sleep regularly, then when I do have a ton of time to sleep (namely on my days off from work @ night) I am usually dead tired until around 10 or 11 (when I usually go into work)when I become WIDE awake. usually I have a beer or two to combat this, which usually works pretty well. other things I do is close my eyes, throw on a relaxing cd (311-transistor is perfect for this, or anything by beethoven :P ) and focus on breathing deep. works well usually.

What's your caffeine intake like? I find that too much = the same symptoms you just described. Try going for a walk/jog/run when you get this way, or do some exercises.

It's definitely not sleep apnea. It kicks in when I'm relaxing about to close my eyes of have had them closed for a couple minutes.
It's hard to say what my caffeine intake is. I've somewhat been staying away from stimulants since my ordeal with Lipo6x and pump250 but I do have some diet coke sometimes.
I did have a pre-workout drink before my bike ride but I'm not sure why it'd have any effects on me ~17 hours later.
