for the Bonehead of the Month award. In my moment of sheer stupidity last night, I must have come to the conclusion that my cell phone was dirty. So it went through the washing machine.

D'oh!

Go Joe!

Hehe.. put it on the dash of your truck, and blast the heat through it for an hour or so.. might just fix it! Mine worked after I did that.. and it fell in the toilet.

I've got a new one coming Monday. But I just might do that Luke, there's some stuff on there (baby pics and the like) that I'd like to snag before I ship it back.

Sucks man. Cells like water for some reason. My previous one decided it wanted to swim in the lake.

It had a SD in it, it's sitting one of my computer desks at home. Incoming pix messages always seemed to default to the phone though. I never got around to copying them over to the disk.

I had 1 go into a vat of Coke syrup at McDs once. Mostly worked after it dried out and I cleaned up the gunk. A lot of sticky keys though so I still needed a new phone. After the mop bucket, dish sink, sanitizer bucket and the vat o Coke my wife pretty much makes me get a belt holster so I don't keep them in the shirt pocket.

phone will survive water, its other stuff in them that kills phones,

and my old mobile (Cell) was a piss head, it fancied a drink of wiskey, 6 months later it sobered up and decided to work and never go on the drink again

Lol.. I had it on a belt holster, and was wearing a headset. I was talking to someone while cleaning my bathroom, because my mom was coming to visit me. *click* - *SPLASH*

I fished it out by the headset cable, and thought, "well, it's not going to get MORE wet.." so I rinsed it off in the sink, then stripped it down and dried it out. Worked for years after that, until I lost it, and cancelled it. Then found it. doh!

My sister in law was telling me a similar story, but she had just finished dropping the kids off at the pool. She flushed and waved good bye to her phone...
