Maybe it's just me, but have you guys seen the price of these things? You can buy a cheap PC for the cost of one of these keyboards.

I absolutely LOVE those things. I had the USB lite version and I got it only because its the only mini keyboard with full sized normal keys not a shrunken keyboard with mini keys and having the # pad crunched up and located in a weird place. It also fit nicely in my shuttle bag.

They obviously are if they are being sold and bought for that price. Just because its out fo your pricerange doesnt make it not worthwile. I can't afford to spend a half million bucks on a nice new Bentley but there are countless others who can and thats what keeps the company afloat. My Happy Hacker keyboard was teh cheaper USB Lite 2 version not the $260 one. If you have a need for a full sized keyboard that small it is definitly a nice one.

I tried that on quite a few keyboards, the problem is many traces go over to the right side and need to come back, there were way too many for me to hack away at and the keyboards wouldn't work right after the mod. I simply cut everything off from the right of the enter key. Maybe if I get my hands on a keyboard that has 3 seperate PCBs under the hood it would work better.

mm well after i think about it, it might be useful for a cool shuttle mod. something small that can look cool w/ shuttle.

Anyone who actually buys that has more money than brains.

Abyine who actually buys that has more money than brains.

Maybe just more brains to make more money with to spend on more expensive toys.

No. It's a more money than brains issue.

More brains does not always equate to more money. More greed equates to more money.

well the price is abit high but some people may like this for a small keyboard to bring to lans and such. Also don't forget that an items worth is an individual opinion where some may not see it being worth it whioles others may.

For example coin collecting. i collect jamaican coins and on some coins they are listed at a certain price. one person may only pay 2 dolars while I would pay 10's because i see a differnt worth to it.

:)

That's no different than any collection. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay. As an avid comic collecter, I understand your coin collection.

I'm not willing to pay that much for a simle keyboard. In my opinion, it's a wasteful expenditure and the money would be put to better use somewhere else.

As I said, that's my opinion

£164.50 (I'm assuming that British Pounds) comes out to around $310 USD. That's one heck of a keyboard :o
