I have long hair, I like computers and metal, I think emo/scene kids are fags, I don't mind the cold, and I tend to wear loose-ish pants with T-shirts that have some sort of obscure logo or refrence on them. I can't seem to keep my room clean, I like working with power tools, and I cuddle my dog before I go to sleep. That's normal to me; and what is "Normal" to me may be somebody else's nightmare.

It's all an opinion. :)

Men in Skirts are not unusual in Scotland. There's a very distinct difference between a man in a Skirt and a man in a Kilt though. The difference being the guy in the Kilt is about 300* more likely to kick your ass if you mistake him for the other guy.

Well put, that is a very good basic definition of hemophilia. There are several types, but the main problem is the person's body is lacking a particluar protein needed for the series of events which produce a "clot" to occur. The effects are usually much more subtle than "bleeding out", but can be troublesome none the less. A much more dramatic bleeding problem is called "disseminated intravascular coagulation", and this can happen to anyone. The result of this problem definately can cause a person to "bleed out" even without a cut. It is one of the more horrific conditions I've ever witnessed.

Correct hemophilia is a bleeding disorder where the person is missing a clotting factor. Factor VIII (8), or type A, is the most common missing factor the second is IX (9), or type B, is the second most common. Then there are levels of servairty mild, moderate, and severe, that just is a mesurement of how much clotting factor you have in your system in regards to normal people. <1% Severe Hemophilia Can bleed without injury (spontaneous) 1%-5% Moderate Hemophilia May bleed only a minor injury 5%-49% Mild Hemophilia May only have bleeding problems after injury or surgery 50%-150% Normal No abnormal bleeding. I have Type A severe.

And yes we do bleed more then others but not as extreme as most information out there would have you believe, I have cut off about 1/2 an inch of my thumb with a razor blade and I'm still here! I have gotten the normal bruises and scraps as a kid (sliding in gravel FTW!) without any major problems.

The main thing is soft tissue bleeding like in the muscles and joints. Joints are the main problem because over time all the bleeding eats away at the cartilage and you lose range of motion. So after time you need to get joints scraped out and stuff like that, actually I have two friends around 19-20 that are having joints worked on. We are a close knit community because it is such a rare disorder, I actually have a tattoo (yes a bleeder with a tattoo) of our "Blood Brothers logo on my right shoulder.

Thats the only good recent picture I have of myself. I'm in a Panoz Le Mans car at the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix. I live 15 minutes from it and it was free. I wish I could find the picture of me working on my friends computer (thats me in my element :p). I think my friend might have, I'll post that if I find it.

Mine is on the front page at the moment. Captured minutes before my sis-in-laws wedding in Carmel. Opened the trunk to put in some stuff, saw my board and realized I had never skated in a suit and tie... CHECK... After the wedding I almost got bounced for grinding the curb in front of the hotel where the wedding was. Until they saw I was in a suit, then they left me alone. Funny what respect you get with a haircut and tie.

Here's what I look like with my normal hair. This was one of the first pictures I took with my current camera. It's big though. And my eyes are halfway closed because of the flash. It happens every single time with this flash, which is why I now only take pictures of myself with the flash off.
