Just happened to be on late last night and got an email @ midnight saying the first few to respond would be selected. So I responded and filled out my stuff, then got an email saying I was selected!

I need to host the party between Oct 22 and 29. I'm probably going to do it on the 25th (Sunday). Some perks of being a host are:

Hosts will receive a special Signature Edition of Windows 7 Ultimate for their efforts. They will also get a Windows 7 Party Pack to share with their guests, based on one out of four themes: PhotoPalooza, Media Mania, Setting up with Ease, or Family Friendly Fun. Party packs will be delivered by October 10, 2009, and include the following items.

All hosts will receive:
One limited Signature Edition Windows 7 Ultimate
One Deck of Playing Cards with Windows 7 Desktop Design
One Puzzle with Windows 7 Desktop Design
One Poster with Windows 7 Desktop Design
Ten Tote Bags with Windows 7 Desktop Design for hosts and guests

Also included in USA party packs:
One package of streamers for decoration
One package of balloons for decoration
One table top centerpiece for decoration
One package of Windows 7 napkins

US residents will also be entered for a chance to win a $750 mini-notebook computer. A total of 64 winners will be notified once all the parties are over (after October 30, 2009).

I'm especially excited to see this Signature Edition of Windows 7 Ultimate

Anyone in the New England area (I'm in Central Mass, right next to Worcester) that wants to come PM me your email addy and I'll send you an invite

Nice! I'm not really sure what goes on at the party, but I might be able to swing by. Sounds interesting to say the least, hehe. As of now, I don't have any plans for that day, but who knows if I will have to work then.

^ @ the mail that is hot, but I think you might already have it anyway.

Anyone else in the Central MA area?

weird. I wonder if it's because I'm still using XP, or because I live in a small town. It is a college town though.

Hey, Knowledge, if you give me a week or two to figure out if I can get off work, I could probably pick you up on the way, as I am coming from Framingham.

I will have to look up a better/quicker way to get to Will's though, lmfao, as the way the stupid GPS made me go last time it took an hour and a half to get from my place to his, even though its only supposed to be like 20 miles or something. I hate that damn GPS. Then again it was the morning after that huge ice storm and traffic was SLOW, but speed limits where it sent me were slow anyway.

Hey SXR, take lots of pics and a video or 2 and do a writeup on it and we will feature it on the front page.

You can come right down rt 9, or take the pike to the auburn exit and come from there. LMK and I can get you better directions

I finally RSVP'd, lol. Anything in particular (food/etc) you want me to bring/that is needed?

I have no clue what actually gets done at a Windows House Party lmfao.

Knowledge, just let me know if you can come and I can easily pick you up on the way there, that way you don't have to dirtbike through the cold and halfway across Worcester county.
