You can buy plexiglass and acrylic from various home hardware shops. There's various ways to cut it into a circle. A lot of people here use a dremel, and that's probably what i'd do, although there's better ways of doing it.

Get the plixiglass/acrylic/perspex and then measure out what you need to cut. When you buy it, it'll probably have a protective layer stuck to it. Don't removed that until you've finished cutting it. Measure out your circle with a compas, then cut it leaving plenty of space to sand down the edges. When you have cut it out, sand the edges down. Viola-there's your plexiglass circle.

If you really want, I could cut you an acrylic circle. I am left with about 30 pounds of un-used white and clear plexiglass, 3/8" thickness.

Lol yes, my acrylic case went down the drain when I got word from an acrylics fabricator telling me that they would help me build it. Now all my acrylic from the project is just laying around. PM me and I'll send you a quote and maybe we can work something out, cutting circles can be fairly tricky.

Yeah when you use a hole saw it makes it easy (Always use metal blades when cutting acrylic).

Just remimber the adjustable hole saw that is able to cut metal will work for acrylic and take your time.

Ahh, if only a had a hole saw... =(.

They do, however, make a dremel hole saw attachment that is adjustable, as I just found out.
