My first video card upgrade was from something lol, to a PCI ATI Expert@Play with the upgraded 8mb ram instead of the stock 4mb - I still remember that the extra ram was literally a chip in a slot - you could remove it if you wanted to heh

I remember those cards. I helped my brother research for a card and the next few weeks the company was gone so no real support when he started having issues. For the most part they were really good cards.

Oh yeah. And Turtle, anybody else use Turtle to draw the house? We'd get bored and make the Turtle go crazy and color to whole screen that horrible Apple 2E green. Oregon Trail was fun. I don't think I made it to the end more then one or two times.

I got my very first computer in 2000. My dad brought home a Gateway with "Gaming Upgrades". It had a Voodoo3 2MB graphics card in it; yeah I know you're jealous. I always had issues with playing games on it because we didn't have internet, so I couldn't update anything.

Good times...
