My mother picked up an old "Canon Typestar 10 Typewriter" at the flea market the other day and I guess she ran out of ink, so I'm trying to track down where to buy more ink. Does it even use ink? I found this on Amazon and its the only thing they have for basically any model, is this the ink?

I'm looking at all the paperwork that came with this relic and there is a date at the bottom that says "CANON BUSINESS MACHIENS, INC. 1992"! lmao

I think I'll save up some money and buy her a netbook and a small printer for her birthday or something. But that's like a year away, so... a solution to the current problem would be great.

I found some in stock in the UK for about $20 for a pack of 6 - it uses a printer ribbon by the way. Part no appears to be CR100/6 but that may be this supplier's own part number - they only ship to the UK though - but if you get stuck, you know where I am, I can always send some over...

EDIT: Found a couple other UK only places also using the part no. CR100 - I'm guessing the /6 was for the pack of 6 - that might help you search - damned search engine localisations - pita to try to get US prices from over here
