Alright, screw the PSP Go, amirite? But say you want what its basically packing or you just want a better device than the original PSP. (PSP Go is SO not a better device, btw!) So whatever are you to do? Fear not people! The PSP Mod God has spoken and he has delivered your every desire! And maybe some you didn't know you had? Until now! Voila!

Bow down to your new PSP and laugh at those who bought the shameful Go!

Seriously though, check out the link. That is EXACTLY! what everyone, myself included, wanted out of the new PSP. Shocking news flash people! You listen to your customers and they become happy, you don't listen and you basically flop. You would think a big ol' company like Sony would know better by now. But then again, since when have they EVER cared about us? Basically never. So screw 'em. Build one of these instead! This is a modding community after-all and you'd spend about the same anyways BUT you get a way better device.

Anyways, to summarize, the PSP Go is for lamerz, this is not. That is all.

Edit: oh yea, also, check out his worklog for how-to step-by-step instructions. Now that's handy!

Awww...she's dead. It's OK though, that entire interview was in orbit over her head. I wonder if she even realized what was going on?

Anyway, that's a pretty hardcore mod. It says he's going into business modding them, any idea how much he's going to charge?

hey guys its ben for like the first time in 3 years
i just got the psp monday for my birthday (not monday its next monday)
its actually a really cool device and its not as dumb as i thought it would be.

the thing about the psp go is that in my mind its really going to be a device that brings in the new age of gaming and by that i mean downloadable content (not that xbox and ps3 dont do that already) but it makes sense in a way. i dont have to carry around 40 umds. also The whole bluetooth tethering thing makes logging onto the playstation store alot easier.

Sure, I'd take one too if it were free. It's not a HORRIBLE device or anything. Although I'd still take the original PSP over this one, and then mod it. :p Hell, it'd probably be cheaper too.

Anyways, the idea behind the PSP Go is solid enough, although it does have a few holes. It's mainly just the design and the carry though that sucks about it. It also has a lot to do with not getting what we wanted. They got kind of close, but they're still pretty far off. The one in the video is basically what everyone wants.

One hole is the digital ONLY format. What if I sell my PSP Go? What then? Do I sell the games already on it along with it? Do the games stay or are they erased when someone creates their own account on it? What if I have an uber classic or rare game, how am I supposed to sell it if I ever want to? In my honest opinion, digital is great, but not at the expense of losing physical mediums. Why not make a game converter? That way if you want physical then you're happy or if you want digital, then you're happy too. Just keep the original PSP design, plug the game in, go into the menu and have it copied to the hard drive. Boom. Done. Is that really so much to ask for? We have the technology, why can't we do it? Because Sony doesn't care about their customers. Simple as that really.
