AMD Phenom X4 9950 2.6ghz Black Edition Processor (Now listed on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270472653988&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT))
This is the first generation of the 9950s meaning it is 140w not the 125w version that was put out. What this means is it runs stable at higher clock speeds than its 125w version(results may vary but this comes from my personal experience). A Coworker of mine built and identical system to mine (Both running the MSI K9A2 Platnum Mobo and 9950 processor except his was the 125w version) He couldn't not get stable clock speeds above 2.8ghz. This processor ran stable for 6 months (until replaced by a Phenom II 940) at 3.0 ghz at 45c under load on air with only a slight bump in voltage. I had read about people getting as high as 3.15 but i was happy with 3 and didn't want to push it. Processor is in excellent condition, comes in original Black edition packaging with OEM fan and documentation.
I will entertain trade offers for other computer components, primarily water cooling components as the next step for my project is to water cool it. As well as AR-15 parts/accessories or other firearms accessories.
