Cool little project. Would it be considered cheating if one were to coat all the Popsicle sticks with glue first to give them more rigidity?

if its like the competition I entered in, you are judged on weight as well, so the glue wouldn't help really. (people tried it, and it does make your bridge stronger but not strong enough)

No coating of glue allowed, and weight doesn't matter for this one.
We test Wednesday of this week so I will keep you guys posted!

It held 250lbs, quite a bit less then the 600lbs my friend's held.

wow dude...you could stack all my piano books on your bridge (I just moved, and out of curiousity weighed one of the 3 boxes of books prior to unpacking.... 70 lbs per box....) Even if your bridge didn't hold 600lbs, I'm still impressed!
