Yes indeed the UK is jumping the gun today with copies of Microsoft's next generation OS dropping through users' letterboxes up and down the country. Why? It's all thanks to the national postal strike which begins tomorrow (finally something to thank Royal Mail for).

WOW, good to see MS acctually pulling there finger out,

got to give MS credit where its due, they are pulling themselves up, there lifing the coat of the past and looks as if there starting afresh thinking of the consumers and offering what they really want,

I admin my machine is running windows 7, and on vista x86 & x64 it ran like crap, but now with 7 x64 its running like a dream, you can really see the peformance improvements.
