Can any LCD be modded to work in a PC? Because I have a small LCD that I'd like to try and use. Can you tell if this connection will work?

TGS,
Can you give us the model # and Mfg?
That looks like a propriatery plug, so by looking @ it I can tell.
But if it has a built in NTSC or PAL converter you golden. So you need to find out what is sent via that cable (first how many wires are really connected in it?, Does the screen have speakers or a headphone jack?) Quick though (not sure mind you) If the screen has speakers or a headphone, that's 3 wires, 2 more for 12Vdc, and 2 more for video (the video gnd and aduio gnd could be tied together -1 wire) so 6 to 7 wires. If there is no sound output , you've got 2 wires for 12V the 1 for R, 1 for G, 1 for B, 1 for ground so 6 wires. That's a 9 pin din plug rather common (IE cheap to use). Might want to pop the back off and see if the wires are color coded, then look at the PCB that they tie into allot of them say video in / audio in right on them where the wires come in. Also if you can see a chip # in there may help as we can look it up and see what it does (if it has a ntsc decoder or is RGB...).
Trying to help you out buddy!!
