Dr. Onion - The Part Time Dentist

I was just dealing with a pretty unbearable toothache that seemingly came out of no where when I decided to start looking for a quick home-remedy fix. And what did I find that worked?

Onion. I took an onion and bit down on it repeatedly with fresh new pieces every 15 seconds for about 5 minutes. It still hurts a little bit, but it's nothing like what it was dong before.

So weird that this came out of nowhere. I can't even see any visible signs of decay or anything on or around the tooth that hurts.

I'm going to have to further research this one. Very weird remedy. Kind of burns your mouth a bit until you get used to it too. Hmmm. :think:

Google Search + Throbbing Tooth Ache shooting pain down my neck = Desperate to try anything I come across. I even tried massaging the area between my finger and thumb as well as placing a hand over the painful area and thinking "healing thoughts". Yea neither worked. lol

Doing a hand stand against a wall does work though. But as soon as you stop the pain comes back. I also tried super salty water, but that didn't do the trick for me. I also took some ibuprofen and that didn't work either.

Doesn't hurt at all today. Very weird. Still no sign of damage or anything. What do I have? An invisible root canal or something? lol

FYI - my breath still smells like onion, even after brushing. uck. lol

Drats! There aren't any visible signs of damage to my tooth, but I can now see that it's darker on one side, like there's a hole on the inside or something. Like it's decaying from the inside out. Grrr. Must of been all these damn sweets.

Lesson learned: always brush after eating sweets, especially during october. lol

Yea, screw it. I want to be a cyborg! Give me some titanium implants any day! And while you're at it, make my teeth out of white carbon fiber. ..with little blue LED's. :p

Great idea... ONION FUSED CANDY! No more cavities! ...or at least... no more painful cavities! lol

Lol....not at all what I meant, but an interesting idea nonetheless. Why not get several colors of LEDs so you can change your mouth color to go with your outfit/mood/situation? ;)
I'm not sure the onion infused candy is a good idea though!
