Decorate your office for:

Left 4 Dead Posters (http://store.valvesoftware.com/productshowcase/productshowcase_L4D-MoviePosterPack.html) - $15 for four
22 x 28 inch Poster Frames - $10 each at Michaels
Crescent matboard 32 x 40" Photo Gray (http://www.dickblick.com/products/crescent-regular-surface-matboard-grays-and-blacks/) - $6.79 each (you'll need four)

Total cost - $82.16 + S&H

I use a Dexter Mat Cutter (http://www.dickblick.com/products/dexter-mat-cutter/) to cut my mats and I love it. After just a little practice you get superb mats at a fraction of the cost.

The posters come with simulated wear and tear. After cutting the matboard to size I decided to extend that wear onto the mats with some small sculpting chisels. The result is a completely custom look that fits the prints perfectly.

The final results look like this. Nice!

Sweet Posters! That's good that you have the mat cutter because it's really hard trying to cut matboard with an x-acto knife and a ruler! (Especially when your trying to get them perfectly straight) lol

Yeah a mat cutter is a good investment in my opinion. Especially with the level of DIY we have around here. The most expensive thing about art, with few exceptions, is framing it. If you can make your own frames and mats, you will save a fortune.

A mat is the board that surrounds the poster or photograph. A mat cutter is a tool designed to cut mats or matboard as it is often called. The blade is inserted and held at an angle to give a beveled edge.

I received the Last Stand poster and all of the posters for L4D2. The new posters are a lot bigger, so I am not going to cut mats like I did for the first ones, but I will get Last Stand framed later today.
