Do you have a Touch or iPhone? Then you need this app! It's called "Air Mouse" and it's currently on sale for $1.99. You install the app on your Touch/iPhone and then you install another app on your PC or Mac. It even works under Windows 7! It was so easy too. You just download it, install and BAM! Done. Launch the app on your device and it immediately starts working. I'm having no lag at all either! But wait, there's more! Check out all the things it can do...

I can't believe how well this thing works! Everything works right off the back and it has expansive functionality like there is no tomorrow.
Edit: I can't seem to get it working with Chrome, but Firefox works just fine so no biggie. It was a bit too fast in tracking as well as scrolling (yea, it works THAT well. lol) so I had to go into the settings and turn it down a bit, which took all of about 2 seconds. The developers of this program really nailed this thing. It works so well and does so much. I really do feel like I have a $200 mouse. ...that plays games, browses the web, has mobile photoshop, etc etc. This is like the most advanced mouse/keyboard/controller ever created. lol

So I have a question: Do all the apps cost money or are there free ones? Some of these apps seem like a waste of code but how do you know which one until you try it?

There are free ones too. Most of the good ones offer a free trial anyways, and I imagine there has to be some sort of refund policy.. but I'm not 100%. I dont have my touch anymore, and cant afford an iphone.. :(

Ahh,
I like the looks of this app though. Nice functionality. Useful too.
On a side note, I was going to get the Droid, but don't really need the data plan since it does wireless anyway. Turns out you can't buy the droid from Verizon unless you get the data plan. At $29.99/mo for just the data plan, I do NOT plan on getting one soon.

There are tons of both free and paid apps. Most of my apps I either got for free or I found them on sale. I rarely pay more than $2 for any single app. The only time I've ever paid more than that was for Puzzle Quest which was $5.
Almost every app that is worth the time to look at has a free and paid version. As for this Air Mouse, it doesn't have a free version as far as I know, but I looked up the reviews for it and it has good ratings, so for $2 I decided why not.
98% of the app store is just a waste of time to be honest. But, 2% of 100,000 (as of 2009, via wikipedia on "app store") is still quite a lot of good apps. :p
That's the one reason why I won't buy the Droid either. or any smart phone/black berry/PDA. I'm not paying for a data plan AND a voice plan AND text messaging. That's ridiculous. I don't even use voice. I'm not going to pay what? $40 a month? For something that I don't even use. What a waste of money...
Oh well. Maybe someday they'll offer better plans. They have the messaging only plans, but not for the Droid. What BS.

I have about 40 apps, and have yet to pay for one. Although, this airmouse is kinda tempting.
