Dell studio 15

My dell studio 15, equipped with windows 7, will not get past the screen after character selection on my wow trial. Any help?

Mmm, sounds like it's probably a problem with WoW, not the laptop.. What does it do when you try to go past that stage?

It just freezes. It works fine on my pc.

hmm never had any problems with my studio 15.

Off topic: DAMNIT!! i finally got windows 7 in the mail to upgrade and I forgot it at home!!! @!#*($&@#$(*@&#$ lol was gonna install it tonight.

I think drivers+windows 7=problem.

Have you upgraded to the latest graphics drivers yet? (from the manufacturer, not from Microsoft)

Yeah, they're the newest ones came installed.

*shrugs* IDK then, unless it's a bug with the new driver (been known to happen a few times with nVidia). Maybe try searching online to see if it's a common problem with your card.

I re-downloaded the driver and it worked!
