Ok, I wanna mod my case, but I don't know what to use. I have a dremel but need reccommendations on what bits are best. Also I see people making their own custom parts for a case out of platic or use bondo:? also where can I buy a scribing tool? I need the tools cause I know I can make the mods!
Ok, if you have a dremal and a healthy supply of cutting disks then your already 65% ready. Some other handy tools would have to be a Jigsaw with some metal blades, clamps, a sander always come in handy, power drill, and a good vice is also a great investment (good to hold things while you measure/build/glue).
Now, Bondo is a 2 part auto body filler. Its is used to hold pieces to cases, add shape to custom blow holes, smooth out surfaces. Best way to learn about it is to buy some and mix up a batch to use some on a test project. However BONDO IS HIGHLY TOXIC, and should ALWAYS be used in a well ventillated area (as I have now learned). But I think that should get you started on modding. Heck, my first mod involved only a dremal :P.
