I Have bluescreened with my new build twice now, same error code each time.
im having trouble working out what the error code actually means, googling it isnt much help
I think its a drive issue, but thats about the best i have been able to come up with, im thinking maybe graphics drivers as it has only happened so far when gaming.

Would appreciate any help, the error code is:

Error code 1000007e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 00000200, parameter3 b0948b08, parameter4 b0948804.

From here: (http://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/thread-187917.php)

The 1000007e Stop Message is essentially identical with the 0000007e stop
code. It means that a system thread generated an exception which the error
handler did not catch. There are numerous individual causes for this
problem, including hardware incompatibility, a faulty device driver or
system service, or some software issues. Check the Event Viewer
(EventVwr.msc) for additional information.

Hope it helps...

Thanks for the reply, doesnt help too much though, it all seems to be pretty vague.
though it did remind me i can stop the machine restarting when it bluescreens, so hopefully that will give me some insight as to what is going wrong.

try updating your drivers for everything? sounds like a driver issue to me.

Well im pretty sure its a graphics driver problem, but the drivers are up to date. Im still waiting for it to blue screen again to get some info, but it hasnt happened yet, even with me playing dragon age solidly over the last few days!
