I have the 8x version, iHOS108 and it's a pretty good drive. My first BluRay, and first SATA drive. No qualms except Windows 7 media center does not natively support bluray :(, which is not the drive's fault.

I figure it's just a matter of time before they will be able to add native support in Win 7. I remember back in the days when DVD came out, it took a while before WMP could play them. One thing I did notice is that at least WMC is smart enough to launch the PowerDVD app for you, so you don't have to exit out of WMC.

That is one sweet deal. If you have an HTPC that is capable of handling it AND you don't already have a Blu-Ray player, I highly recommend it. :up:
