You might consider a 5870 or a 5770. Probably makes it a little more then you want to spend however.

Actually they are cheaper than the 4890s but I think it's 128 bit whereas the 4890s are 256 bit, that's why I don't really want it. Unless someone can tell me otherwise it's not that much of a difference.

You could also check a 5850 which is around $310 on newegg.
it's 256bit and performs quite well.
Looks like a good setup. The only down-points I see are that the 4890 does not have DX-11 support. Not a problem at the moment, but will probably start to be at some point in the next year. Not very detailed, but there's a nice, simple comparison of GPU models here (http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/HIS/HD_5770/30.html).
I would also recommend adding an additional 4GB set of RAM at some point. It's not a necessity, but it sure adds a nice boost.
If you can afford it, I would highly recommend stepping up to the 1TB WD Black (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136284) instead. Again, not a necessity, but a nice boost.
EDIT:
doh! I just realized that page is just a summary for a nice detailed review. :P
Blah... You think prices will go down for boxing day?
*shrugs* idk; we can always hope :P
I've decided not to build because of this very irresistible offer!
