I've only see a few episodes, but it looks like I'll be starting from the beginning tonight! Woo!

You can also check out the 5th season of Atlantis as well as the 1st season of Stargate Universe. I've never seen Atlantis, but Universe is freaking awesome so far. Universe continues on the 5th of December, which is tomorrow. Excited!

Anyways, thought I'd mention SG1 as most if not all of it is available on Hulu until May 2010.

Looks like they're missing the last season of SG-1..and only have the last season of Atlantis :P ironic, that.

Personally I've been a little underwhelmed with Universe so far. Don't get me wrong, I still like it and watch it, but I think someone in the Universe thread nailed it on the head when they said that it's more about drama than explosions and action and whatnot (ok, not exactly the wording they used, but I'm too lazy to look it up :P ). It's missing most of what I thought made the first two Stargate's good; namely, encountering alien civilizations, the unknown, action, and messing around with awesome alien tech that we have no business touching. Universe feels more like Lost...in Space...but not Lost in Space. It will be interesting to see how it progresses, especially since they haven't even touched the stargate in, like, 4 episodes; they've just been dealing with weird relationship stuff and the drama between the people on the ship. It feels almost like they got handed a tiny budget and were told to go and make a new Stargate show, but the only writers they could afford were the people who did Big Brother or something. It really is rather disappointing. I had such high hopes for Universe before it aired :(

I hate the romance bits in Universe. Totally unnecessary and ruins the show in my opinion, but I just try and ignore it. I like pretty much everything else though. Unfortunately all the relationship stuff takes up a pretty good chunk of the show.

I'm just going to give it time like I do with all things. Hopefully the writers or producers or whatever will make it more Stargate-ish and less love triangle-ish.

I'm liking the original Stargate so far though. It really basically just takes off from where the movie kinda left off, which is nice. Its not like a show that's just based off of the movie or whatever. They replaced Kurt Russel though! I liked him dammit. haha

Just found this on IMDB, has better ratings than the original Stargate movie. Hmmm. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0929629/

Edit: Also, damn! Google "Amanda Tapping". :p

A friend of mine complained about the same thing after watching the original movie..I might have to find it and rewatch it.... Personally though, I love Richard Dean Anderson in SG-1 though; he makes a very different character, but I love the result :D

Yeah, there were two straight-to-DVD movies made after SG-1 ended that (sort of) continued the story. That one (Continuum for people who don't feel like following the link :P ) and The Ark of Truth. I wanna say there's another one that is coming out soon...can't for the life of me remember what it's called though.

I don't think they have confirmed the new name yet but if you look up any of the main SG1 characters you can see a rumored movie in the works. I think they're suppose to start work once the first season of Universe finishes. I've been a huge fan since the original movie and was upset when Showtime picked up the show in the beginning. Before the days of hulu and internet that coudl stream whole episodes and my dad wouldn't get extended cable. Then Sci-fi grabbed it I think around the 3rd season and it was a huge hit for them.

I like Universe but I think I'm in the same boat as everybody else. Get rid of the whole love triangle bits, move them at least to the back burner, and get back into some crazy alien race that is in that universe like the Gould. And that damn shaky camera. Go back to steady cam and give us some good story lines. I really would not like to see this fail.

Yea, I think that's why it was surprising. She doesn't seem like that kind of person, she doesn't have that personality or looks about her I guess. I wasn't saying that I thought she was attractive or anything, I was just saying. She's alright looking at best, not enough tattoos and doesn't have that nerdy look about her that I like in women. But man, those are some racy pictures! Just was not expecting that I guess. lol

Now you want to talk hot nerdy girl, Mandy Morbid (Porn Star/Model) is smoking! Ahh, if only dreams came true... :p

I'm sure it's available elsewhere on the internet, through...certain other venues ;)

That I'm totally not endorsing here. :whistler:
