I have 10lbs of KNO3 left over from my smokebomb days.
What are some other uses of the material?
I know that it can be used in making rocket fuel; does anyone have a good mixture, and method?

Thanks

Maybe one of my old ones.
Any suggestions on how to do it?

I'm sure I'm already on the FBI watch list
I had 20lbs of this shipped to my house, not the first time I had done this either.

But, I don't have any CO2 cartridges laying around :(

I'll find something to do with it though

The feds will be at your door momentarily, please relax as it makes it easier for them to pound your face.

Just look on youtube....i don't know the exact formula and how many milligrams of each thing you need but here is the basis of the mixture i'm talking about.

(KNO3+Sugar) You will have to cook for more than an hour about 90 mins....and it will have to cool for the same amount of time. Some people like to add a Red Iron Oxide to make the engine fuel look pinkish.

NOTE: I don't have anything to do with you blowing off any limbs or blowing your kitty sky high. I am not responsible for any injury or bodily harm that may be caused with mixing your own rocket engines.

I have tried the KNO3+Sugar rocket fuel. You are supposed to add Corn Syrup as well and bake, which I haven't wanted to do for obvious reasons..

NOTE: I hold none of you responsible for if I blow up.

I read somewhere that if you use a 6-7% mix (by weight) of motor oil that it does the same thing, and is a lot safer :)

Why not sell it to another model rocket enthusiast, and make some Christmas money? :D

Not a bad idea, but I'll most likely end up using it for a New Year's show. lol
