Just signed up, figured my desktop doesnt get used very often anymore might as well fold@home! :)

EDIT: how do I use my GPU as well? do I have to download a separate client for my 8600gts? lol I have never done this before.

I was already folding anonymously...I just threw your name/team in the configuration. You should find an admin at a school or something that has tons of computers just sitting most of the time...convince them to do a network install if possible and use all those idling cores and gpus...that = win.:D

I'll have to contact my network admin. He's kinda a grump so I doubt he will let me.

Yes, it's a separte client for the GPU under High Performance Clients Link.

Sadly, my GPU doesnt qualify (7950gt) so I'm S.O.L. on that. I'll OC my P4 to 3.4 or something and see how it does. :D

I used to do the SETI@home on my farm of SGI supercomputers when they were idle. We had one of the highest scores around.
