I've always want to mod one of the old Predicta TVs but can't get over the asking price for most of them. The orange coloring on the render strikes me as wrong tho. A wood burl veneer or camera case leather would have been much better, IMHO.

I think they were still trying to keep the style in this century and only borrowed from the past. The orange looks a lot cleaner than brown...plus it's shiny, and we all know how much we like shiny things!

The orange is too bright, looks like it the same color as was popular in the late 60s, if it was a car, I'd call it hemi orange or go mango. Closer would have been a orange-ish red.
