We are trying to improve on our site ranking and to do this we need some reviews of our site posted on alexa.com. We are asking everyone to take a few minutes out of your day and write a short review of TBCS.

Really, that sounds odd.

I'm becoming quite the SEO and ranking aficionado and I'm skeptical that reviews are hurting your page ranking.

Backlinks are the #1 driver of page rank. I would recommend users posting page links back to the site to help out. Deeplinks are the key. Link directly to articles and images and I think you'll see a much more significant increase in rank.

Alexa ranking is weird. The more reviews the site owner writes of other sites and the more reviews users write of the site the lower the ranking gets. This is completely different from SEO and google pagerank. This number is used primarily by potential advertisers. It has no effect on our SEO or pagerank.
