Yes! I think that was a terrific decision by the judge, I am so disgusted with reality TV and the way people are whoring themselves in the attempt to be on it. These two people especially pissed me off, and while I'm glad they are doing a short stint in the slammer (and have been forbidden to legally profit from their story) I'd like to see them have to repay every cent that the city spent looking for their kid. The salaries for every second of time rescuers actually searched, law enforcement investigated, and the justice system spent trying the case, should be tallied up on a nice receipt and billed to that jackass to pay off.

Sorry for the rant, this is why I don't own a TV, I'd go crazy with anger I think.

Here here. They should also have to do community service and go through parenting classes.

This is why the TV I do own is either showing Hockey, Adult Swim, or one of the nature shows like NOVA or something like that. (If I am watching it anyway)
I'm with ya Jon! The only TV I usually watch is Discovery Channel, Science Channel, Food Network.. you know, something with some actual substance.
Hahaha! Serves them right! I love how the guy was all 'Oh, wow, I'm sorry everyone" (read, oh crap...they're actually like, taking this seriously...I didn't think we would get in trouble...please don't get us in trouble!) Seriously...grow up already...dick.
Also, I totally agree with not having a TV..though tbh, for me it's more because I can't justify the cost of a TV, let alone cable TV service, and even if I had them, I wouldn't use them hardly at all.

Dexter, House, Supernatural, Fringe, or some documentaries.
+1 for the parents getting jailtime.

Glad to see the system worked for once. Sucks for the kids to lose their parents right before christmas but deep down inside I think they are better off with out those parents anyway.

Heehee, now there's a show I might actually watch. "Former reality show 'stars' treated with experimental drugs"

oh the judge set it up so that the father would do his term first, and then while he is on paroll/probation she does her term.
so they won't have to go into child custody
maybe its a win for the courts, and a win for the media and the public in general, but man it must be a almost hilariously bad time for those kids.
Full grown, sane adults have a hard enough time dealing with hoards of media.
i can't imagine it for those little kids man.
hahaha man you probably shouldnt say "better off with out those parents anyway" until you've had to live without parents for awhile yourself.
I mean imagine getting kidnapped and placed in some sort of jail place with nothing but complete strangers acting artificially happy towards you,it ****s with your mind, and i raged when it happened to me. I'd start trying to whoop ass on anyone who opened the door. I'd Smash the plates of food back under the door and screamed and yelled. I just wanted my mom back.
