I finished my first watercooling loop a couple months ago, and now there is white buildup inside my tubes... I used koolance brand liquid which should have anti-corrosion additives in it. Should I drain the system and replace all the tubing or what? Will the build up get any worse? I'm assuming this is galvanic corrosion which is not good. I just need some insight as I'm new to watercooling.

some main things that could be your problem:

radiator flushing - new radiators usually have some dirt/bacteries in them when shipped, so its a great idea to flush them with boiled destiled water.
mixing metals - if you have mixed metals in your loop, that might be the problem. try to tell us your hole setup.

i run the koolance fluid myself, but i dont have any alu in my loop, wich i would recomend that NOONE gets. alu should not be in contact with copper in any way in watercooling.

please write down your components and i will help further:)

This rad which I'm assuming is aluminum and a copper XSPC block.

Actually I think that is copper, at least it states it has a copper core in the detailed description.

that rad should be brass or copper.

but i GOT to ask, what are you cooling with that micro radiator!?!

please list all your components, or update your profile with "my system" so we have a better change of helping you.

White is rad flux. At least in a loop like that.

However, more information is always helpful. Actually, what tubing are you running? It could be plasticizer leach.

Well this isnt a PC exactly, it's a 360 and I'm using tygon tubing

B4-44-X or 3603? Makes a difference.

Huh? Can you explain?

Regular Tygon is 3603, and it suffers from plasticizer leach. B4-44-X is plasticizer free.

which is my guess as to the problem, plasticizer.

I will find out what kind it is, but in the meantime. Will this effect my temps or flow negatively?

There's no real reason it should, just looks shabby. If the temps stay fine, and you don't mind looking at it, then there's no reason to change.

as said it's strictly a aesthetic thing. you could get a pipe cleaner to clean most of it out but it will come back and you won't get it back to clear. i never could anyhow.
