I'm trying to install windows 7 on the computer I built for the wife (Rockin Case). It loads files, then gets BSOD with the following error:

STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x89255573, 0x87E197F4, 0x87E193D0)

Specs:
ECS N2U400-A MB
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Barton
WD 500GB IDE
3GB DDR
PNY GeForce FX5200

I've run this setup before with XP with no issues. Its a new HDD and different RAM, but same CPU and vid card. I'm going to try swapping the mem back to what it was and see if that works

which driver is listed on the bottom of the BSOD? Have you looked at the dump file yet?

ok so I pulled out all but 1 stick of mem, works fine. 2 of the sticks were in the TGIMBOEJ that I got the other day, they must be NG. ah well, I'll order some online for it
