My gaming desktop is auto hibernating after about 10 min of inactivity. I have looked everywhere for the settings to change this but am drawing a blank. What am I missing?

Did you look in the power profiles (I think that's what it's called)?

I will check when I get home. Thanks!

I believe its in the power profiles as nevermind said. go to your monitor properties then power settings on the bottom, should be "turn off monitor" in there, you may need to click "change settings" or something fo rit to work, I did it with mine but I forget right now lol

I still haven't checked for it yet. I have been spending the last few days organizing my old files on the new drive.

I'll try and remember to take a peek at my comp tonight when I get home. I have Win7 and I successfully turned off that setting, I just don't recall where it was.

ok here we go:
control panel - hardware and sound (click on that specific text) - power options - change when computer sleeps - change advanced power settings. That's the best way to get in and see all options at the same time.
