It used to be a saying "In Soviet Russia, Government Pays you" as a joke against communism.

This case NEEDS Nixie tubes! Practically every nixie you can source now was made in Soviet Russia, it's something they're well known for and they're awesome to boot.

"In Soviet Russia, snowball throw you!"
"In Soviet Russia Fool pity you!"
"In Soviet Russia Lolercopter laughs at you"

The ICETube Clock kit from AdaFruit sequenced as a countdown module. Then Small Nixies in one of the 5.25 bays behind plexy. Ohhh man I got so many ideas. Maybe I need to plan a cold war mod...

I was simi serious about the cold war mod. Will have to be a while from now. My COD MW2 mod is going to take up most of my free time.
I can not wait to see more work on this mod though. It has HUGE potential.

Based on the pics, I think you should get away with it as long as the stuff you fit doesn't stick out too far. There appears to be a recess in the front of the case so the 5.25 bay covers sit back a little from the edges, and there also looks like there's a slight recess in the door itself, so hopefully, between the two of them, you should be ok.

if all else fails with the door. they are normally hollow so you could drill a hole in the door where the switches stick out.
