Addicting game: Dragon Slayers 2

I made it to level 14 and only lost because my mouse stopped responding due to a dead battery.

My tip... Upgrade the hauler to speed 3, your bow to level 5, and your bow crew to level 4 and your castle to level 2. Post your results.

Didn't even have a chance with the boss (Level 15?). Upgraded castle and ballista.. no chance.

Edit: Upgraded to Level 5 Ballista (MAX), Level 5 Ballista Crew, 2000 Castle HP and Level 3 Hauler Speed. And guess what???

I still didn't even have a chance what-so-ever. This game sucks.

Edit2: Try doing the Mage upgrades and what-not. They're pretty expensive, but I have a feeling that they're key. I might attempt this game on the marrow, but too annoyed and frustrated right now. lol

Edit3: Tried Mage thing with two Mage upgrades. Didn't help at all. They didn't even attack. I quit. lol

Well I got to level 25.. the secret I found to level 15 is lots of carpenters. Of course if you have lots of carpenters you can't do alot of upgrades to anything else. I managed to get my castle to level 2 and my balista up to level 3 right before I hit the boss level.

made it to level 25. that baddie is HUGE!

...and I beat it. well, after level 45 you can keep playing but its just defending, and you dont see any new dragons.

Level 25 - Max Ballista, but before buying a ton of Carpenters. I also bought just as many Archers, but they were useless against bosses as they didn't do anything. So moral of the story is... Ballista and Carpenters are the way to go. Oh, well, also you want a nice strong castle so max that out too.

Are there any new creatures after level 25? After the water dragons?

yeah... there are a couple new ones that you see after the 3rd boss. I found that getting a good number of ballista crew early on helped out too. like 3 or 4 guys just about. worked well for me!

What does the Ballista crew even do? I could never figure it out. I'd upgrade like mad but not see any results?

it makes you shoot faster and farther basically.

I used Cheat Engine to play a little bit with this game. It seems there are limits to how much damage the archers or mages will do. There is, however, no real limit to the benefit of your carpenters. Nonetheless this game gets really repetitive after the 3rd boss. How many levels does this game even have?

I made it through 2 cycles of the bosses (there are 4, one at 15,25,35, and the final one at 45. then they repeat again every 5 levels).

I was really bored at work. the trick is to spam the ballista straight up as fast as you can click when the bosses spit out those bubble thingies. doesnt matter how high you shoot them, if you do it straight up as fast as your mouse can click the arrows get almost all the bubbles. thats the secret. and lots of carpenters. lol

I found one site that I could play on, but it was a freakin' 3 level demo.. I didn't know flash demos even existed...
