Not the disney cult!?!?!
That's OK, we will be waiting for you when you get home with the mouse ear extractors to the ready...
If LA was not so far away I would meet up. Enjoy your time with the family!

I'm bringing D_Stilgar's NES PC for him, I think.

man....my girlfriend and I just got season passes last week, but since I have to work (and just took vacation) I can't go down there during the day on weekdays right now. Eh well, I'll be heading up for Rods and Mods next month, so I'll see you there...have fun in disneyland, and be sure to go on Space Mountain...that ride's a blast (when it's working)

It was better before they redid it. It's too light now.

amazingly enough, I never experienced the ride before they redid it (I used to be terrified of roller coasters. then I went on Goliath at Magic Mountain...255 drop...and have loved coasters ever since). In a way I'm glad I didn't go on Space Mountain before, as this way I don't have anything to compare it to. One more cool tidbit - when you go into the park, immediately on the right is the Lincoln theater (I think that's what it's called). They had a model of Space Mountain in there so you can actually see the track..it's one of the coolest things I've seen, well worth checking out.
BTW, if you wanna take a way-out-of-the-way detour you can drive 70-ish miles north to the Thousand Oaks area and preview the sandcrawler :)

The NES PC is more or less done today and I will be working on the keyboard this week to see if I can send it as well. If you don't want to go to Rods and Mods I can find somebody else to take the case for me.
I love Disneyland. My wife and I went this past spring. We are planning a nice big Disneyworld vacation for sometime in the next few years and will make sure to hit the other parks in Florida while we are there.
Here are a few links to articles I wrote on my site after the trip. Some of you may be interested in reading them, and one of them may be useful for planning. Have fun!
Lots of pictures.

I'm totally in for going to Rod's and Mod's, it's only a 2 hour drive
And I want to meet the fellow TBCSers

Zap Airbozo a message if you were going to bring a mod - I know he was working on getting a group of us together. Also, I've been in touch with the museum and let them know you might be interested (but was also clear that that was all I knew, so as not to rope you in to bringing a mod that you may or may not have :P)

Well, if I get it done in time I will be bringing my own. Otherwise I am definitely bringing D_Stilgar's NES for him. I'll shoot Airbozo a PM.
