make sure he got the cards seated correctly, and yeah drivers could be an issue as well.

If you're talking about a wireless adapter, I'm currently using this one from Zonet (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833130111) and absolutely love it. Zero problems, $22 each plus shipping. I've used it with XP and Win 7 both without difficulty.

Ok he sent one of cards and driver disks home with me tonight.
this is what he got http://3btech.net/chwi808and80.html

that's where he got them from and it came with the driver disk the os is win xp pro.
I tried the driver that came with it i googled it and found where the chip is made by realtek when and got those drivers .

Every time i try to install them it say something about the hardware is not supported or it cant find the software .
this is the same problem he has it says
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware the driver maybe corrupted or missing
Blue is does that work the same as one of these

Yes, it's exactly the same thing, only cheaper, likely because it's bigger. It's still pretty small though, it would probably fit inside a cigarette pack.

this guy is also on sale... and while Belkin routers suck some serious vacuum power, I have never had a problem with any other accessories etc they have put out.
