Does anyone know if you can get like. Sheets of that stuff they used to make the little slider feet on the bottom of mice? I had to take my logitech G5 appart and lost the feet. it doesn't slide as nice anymore. Its not a big issue, i was just curious.

They're out of The Netherlands, but a ton of online stores stock them...plus other brands.

THANKS A TON GUYS! They have a set made just for my mouse. Maybe Ill buy two incase one set falls off as the thing gets old. God knows i keep stuff around long after its outdated lol.

Edit: And I had no clue people took their mouse this seriously. Upgraded skates and special waxes/compounds for your mousepad? Thats hardcore.

Now i just need to buy an actual mousepad.

Ratpadz XT (http://www.ratpadz.com/). Your mouse will thank you. ;) I've been using mine for about 3 years now, heavy use 7 days a week, plus putting it through lots of other wear and tear, and it still looks exactly like it did the day it arrived....slapped in a flat-rate envelope :P You know you made your mousepad tough enough when...

Whats the texture on it like? Is it smooth or can you 'feel' the texture under ur mouse? It looks textured in the pics. I hate when i can feel the texture in my wood desk. Though at the moment what i feel is mostly because my mouse has no skates on it.

It's textured if you touch it, but smooth under your mouse. Since the texturing is uniform in height and fairly uniform in spacing, the mouse feet glide right over it. I believe they do it to create less friction between the mouse and the pad; less surface area == less friction == faster mouse movements.

I have a piece of plastic similar to the Ratpadz, my friend gave it to me for free. It was some kind of car speaker thing and cost him like 97 cents or something. Works beautifully!

Me to. Im so used to it now though that it doesn't feel heavy anymore and anything lighter just feels downright week.
