Hi guys, I didnt know where else to post this as I cant seem to find a definitive answer.
There's basically nothing much left on the 2 front usc ports on the p180 the reason being my son tripped over the usb cord while it was plugged in the front ( my fault for carelessness) Whats left of it is a square rectangular void where you can still make out some pins.

Ive checked the Antec website and couldn't find spare parts for this piece.
What would you guys suggest as a fix ?

Not sure if you could find a direct replacement for the part, but if you open your case up and find the molded piece that has the usb ports, headphone/mic jacks, firewire etc. you might be able to find a replacement. or you could try and make one of these fit.

If you can't find somethign that would work, I would recommend just getting one of these and mounting it in the back in a spare pci slot. and then just connect it to the motherboard where the front panel was connected. they make a 2 port and a 4 port version. Here is a link to the 4 port.

If you do this, you won't have to worry about wires hanging out the front to get tripped on again.
good luck.
Actually, try contacting Antec support. I had a P-180 a few years ago, and after they came out with the newer, thicker door, and mine was starting to warp, I sent them an email explaining the situation and asking if there was anywhere I could buy one of the new doors (and also some new feet; somewhere I had lost one of them). Turns out Antec is freakin awesome, and they sent me the new door, plus 4 new feet...for free!
So, my advice to you: send them an email, explaining what happened, and asking if there's anywhere you can buy a replacement for the broken part. Send them the picture too. They might just surprise you ;) And besides, worst case, they tell you that they can order you the piece for $xx, and you tell them you don't want to spend that much.

thanks, if all else fails I'll have to try one of those options.

Thats a good idea, I'll try this first and see.
btw I saw this on an Antec parts site labeled as "P180 Port Assembly" :

Im not sure if this is what im looking ?? The picture on the site is very small and I can hardly make it out.

Yeah thats the part. It's a molded plastic piece and you can't just swap out the USB ports.
I've had the P-180 and now have the P-182B and both of them had similar issues. Currently, the plastic that holds the pins in my left USB port broke off. I may email them and see what happens.

Guys, exact same problem here. what was the solution? was it that front panel cable pictured above? it comes with the usb ports for the front panel?
i have 1 p180b i just screwed up on and a p180 i wrote Antec about last year...they said they would send me a part for that one because sometimes the ports cause reboots when you plug things in.
it just sucks i can't call someone at antec to talk to...just email. and last problem i didn't get solution since the part has not been received 2 months later.
I forget how long it took for them to get me my replacement part...I wanna say it was at least a month though. If they said they're sending you a part and it's been a while, contact their support people; I've always had really good experiences with them.

Well, i emailed them about my p180b today and re-emailed them about my wife's p180.
mine i just broke it by accident and I'm still pissed off about it.
My wife's had an issue i emailed about in December which it's been doing for 2 years randomly...when you plug something in it reboots the system. now i need essentially 2 of the part part.
they could do a better job in providing more parts on their parts site.
how hard is it to replace?
