While we have all seen this keyboard (http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/keyboards-mice/8193/), the one I'm linking to now looks to have a lot more potential. http://lightblueoptics.com/products/light-touch/

That's pretty cool. I wish they would include the option to set it up a little higher to create a larger screen, but I guess that could wait to version 2.0. It's still a much cooler concept than a simple keyboard. Or wait, a USB connection in the back could allow it to be used in conjunction with a much more powerful computer! I'm brilliant! :D
I also like their Light Speed project. A lot of roads around here are paved in a way that, when wet, become literally a mirror. It gets to be nearly impossible to tell where the lines on the road are or even if you're still in a lane. Version 1.0 could be to assist drivers...and version 2.0 could tell 'autopilot' where it is on the road.
Damn I wish I was born 50 years in the future! That's when all the cool stuff is going to be made...but I guess I'd say the same in 50 years.

The light Speed is just a HUD, really. They have put them in cars intermittently in the past. In 2001 there was pontiac, and Cadillac has used it before. It's the same technology they have been using in planes for years....
I have no idea why this hasn't been more popular in cars.

Another thought for the keyboard: v3.0 can be a small footprint thing like the concept currently shows, but projects a keyboard down and a 1080p (or higher) screen straight at the wall in front of me...with the option, of course, to turn off the main screen and turn said keyboard back into the touchscreen. It could use LEDs instead of lamps that cost a fortune and need to be replaced once a year... It should also shoot lasers and make sandwiches.
