Some of you may know that the journalists on this website have a fairly extensive list of topics and articles that we can choose to write about. Problem is, none of them strike my fancy. I'm not going to tell you what they are, and I would rather hear what kind of articles YOU want to read.

After all, anyone who is reading this post right here is part of my immediate audience. I want to write FOR you, not TO you. Sure, I had fun writing "5 Free Programs Every Techie Should Have (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/?q=node/356)", and I'm still interested in continuing my Windows 7 Feature Focus (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/?q=node/409) series, but I really want to know what interests you.

If you've seen my mods you know that, like anybody, I'm decently skilled in some areas and still learning in others. I like modding, but I will never claim to be an authority on the subject. I'm a Computer Engineering major, but the only thing I've ever done is attach an LED to a state machine. I know a good bit, but there is always more to research. Since I love learning and I love teaching, I want to hear your ideas of things I should write about. It can be specific or broad, and I will do my best to choose a worthwhile topic, research it to its fullest potential, and present it in an article you want to read.

So, there you have it, what do you want me to write about?

Some articles I always found interesting were the "How does it work" articles. It would take a topic, such as video decoding, and get into the basics of how it all works.

Things we use everyday, but truly have no idea how they work.

How about a monthly or bi-monthly article on a unique mod from TBCS or anywhere on the net that is just freakin' awesome or that creatively uses something that was never intended to be part of a computer...anything that tickles your fancy really.
It could be an inspirational article that keeps the creative juices flowing around this community.

M-PEG compression is always a good "how does it work"

really its sort of to the point of finding something 1,000 other people havent already made the exact same thing of.
