not a bad idea... parts-express.com has em for like 1.69 a relay just gonna purchase them from there I guess. going to do a couple easy mods for my car :) will post pics when I am done.

on a side-note, how well does cat5 cable transfer audio signals? My new car cd player has 4 pre-outs for audio and a cat5 cable would be perfect to run back to the amp so I don't have to try to run 2 sets of RCA cables. or is that a bad idea? just wire up 4 rca connectors to the twisted wire pairs?

EDIT: the cat5/cat6 idea wouldn't work, at least for what I wanted. NM! :) just gonna get 2 rca cables and cable-tie the **** out of them. :D
