Ok, I need an adhesive that will bond nickel to plastic. Underwater. In motion. Forever.

The exact type of plastic is unknown, but I'm not sure how important that is if I'm trying to bond it to nickel.

Can someone recommend a certain type of epoxy maybe? :?

Thanks all!

Edit: Mods, Admins and other persons of power, if this needs to be moved to another area, please do.

3M VHB would probably do the trick.

Stuff is strong enough to Bond two rail cars together and have a train pull it away.

It was the only substance capable of hanging the Dubai skyscrapers windows on, and still have tolerance for the changes in heat and humidity.

It's strong enough for me to stick Body panels to my car.

3M Says its the strongest adhesive tape they've ever came up with.

Also Withstands Blunt Force trauma and impacts, Resistant to most corrosive materials, It bonds on a Molecular scale.

s$@$ is dank trust me. I've taped a handle to the ceiling and hung off of it.

It'll bond that plastic to that nickle forever. I'm sure you could put it through a violent explosion and you'd find the remnants of those pieces still stuck together by VHB, takes 48 hours to "seep" and achieve maximum strength.

after that you can yank and pull on it, and it will flex and move, But not come apart.

If you all ever wondered how i got my case fans to hang off the edge of the case by the side, or mysteriously be attached without any screws... I'm using VHB.

Yea, You don't want the Red label stuff either.

You want the grey or White.

Worth every penny though.

ridiculously strong.

if it was a mint candy. It'd be those "curiously strong" ones.

There is a epoxy Lowerance includes with their surface mount transducer pucks that is supposed to become a permanent bond to any surface. I have not used it myself but heard good things about it.

On my boat when I needed to attach a LED light bracket with a chrome housing I used Marine Goop to affix it to the hull. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/producte/10001/-1/10001/32287/377%20710%201016/0/Caulking%20/Primary%20Search/mode%20matchallpartial/0/0?N=377%20710%201016&Ne=0&Ntt=Caulking%20&Ntx=mode%20matchallpartial&page=CategoryDisplayLevel1&isLTokenURL=true&storeNum=5000&subdeptNum=4&classNum=318
