i put my old 9800 gt into an older system that my mom was using, but the problem is the cooler covers 3 of my sata ports on the board, im looking for a new cooler (cheap) for a vga card that isn't overclocked and stands off the card a little... advice? all the coolers i find are for 8800 cards. is there a different card type that is compatable with the 9800? maybe it has the same connection as the 8800? help please (cheap being under $40 with shipping)

ps, i was looking at this one, as it will match my CPU Hsf.

It doesn't say it is compatible with the 9800GT, but I've seen people use it before. It's fanless and stands off a bit.

with this my temps went from 46idle 75-80 load to 34 idle (cooler than my Processer....) and 65 load ( i used furmark for 10 min to get load temps.)

only thing i might do in the future is to cut off a plate and some fins to cover those chips on the back that you can see.

15$ But it'd match that other heatsink perfect. they come with super long posts but you can clip them to the height you want (or saw) and sand them down flat and shiny again. 10 pack so you could probably have enough to do the card and sprinkle the rest of them all over the system
