We want to give back to you guys for making this place so great. We want to go this in the form of prize contest and give-aways. So what kind of contest or give-aways would you like to see us host?

personally a million dollars would do, but we all know that isn't going to happen.
Simple things would do really, a new CPU cooler, a 16GB usb flash drive (do they even make those??), or a box of LED's and different lighting materials for a mod.
Nothing too expensive, but something people would enter for just to receive something they wouldn't normally buy.

I am not asking about what prizes you would like. I want to know what kind of contest you would like to see.

Hm, for some reason, that's not what I got from your post. Thanks for the clarification.
Do a random 40 question quizzlet. The questions could be outrageous, something like, whats the part no. of an IBM Model M (which is on Wikipedia btw) They could even be what company makes Dunkin Donuts Styrofoam cups (which is Dart containers, if you were wondering).
Just a suggestion.

Hmmm . . . It's hard to say. I'm not a fan of the conceptual contests. They are nice since they don't cost money, but my brain is something I exercise quite a bit. I don't exercise my hands nearly as much.
I like the low budget contests that require us to mod a USB drive or something.
We could have the ultimate low budget contest. People could build a PC case (no components except maybe a disc drive if it is modded to be seamless with the rest of the case) for as little money as possible and post the results here. We would then judge its aesthetic appeal and make a guess at the cost of the build. Through some math formula we can derive at a later point, the scores are put together to find a winner. Something like: Aesthetic-score/money-spent^2. Lowest score wins.
Idk. That's just an idea.

He's got a point! :D The contest needs to be something anyone can win easily, that way the "pro's" don't have any sort of advantage in them. The USB modding contest was perfect infact, it was short, easy, and would consume little time because of the size of the project.

You'd want to flip your equation  As it sits, those with equal aesthetics, the one who spent more money would win. I know it was just throwing it out there, but I just had to . . . 8)
As for contests, hmmm. Not really sure. I don't often have time to participate. I'll try and think of something.
