Hi , I am a Modder of Brazil, and decided to place my project you to comment here what they had found of it, good you criticize and suggestions are accepted (forgives my poor English)

Description of the Cabinet:
Cabinet Upson Up179 - Model Mercedes SLK
Standard tower ATX
Black with details in silver
Covers with lateral openings
Dimensions: 185 X 445 X 416mm (Width X Depth X Height)

original case:
http://img289.echo.cx/img289/420/p52729220mn.jpg

Here I it drew in the window, using adhesive ribbon and drawing in the same hand, I preferred to draw the hand and not you print the drawing. This drawing was based I projects of the Mnpctech (that it made an excellent work in the HELLBOUND).

another lateral window, this drawing also was found in the InterNet, but I do not know to who I belong, I found that this drawing would be very well inside of the subject of my project:

I go to place some photos of the superior cut, it if it deals with a tribal one of roses, this was the cut more complicated q I already I made but the result left the one more good than the waited one, in this cut I preferred to order to print the Vector and not to draw the hand, because I found the drawing delicate and it could not cut wrong rss

photoshop Test

CD-Rom Mod:

http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/606/p31722804ff.jpg

Now I will put pictures of the PSU mod, I used connectors MIKE 4 roads (they are called like this here in Brazil) and a DB 25 to do the connection of the mobo. I also put a cooler to help in the cooling. I changed back Cooler and the placement of 2 blue leds for illumination. And cut covers, I should still make a lateral cut in that cover.

I can cut like that... who am I kidding, no I can't. Great cuts. I love the idea of the top cut out exposing a modded DVD drive. Only thing I'm not feeling is the uv lightning bolt thing. The cuts, color and lighting is so classy, I'm not sure it fits in. Fantastic work.

I don't know if this guy's coming back or not, but i'm gonna bump this in the hope that someone can tell me what you do to get cuts like that. This is one of the most stylish and well designed set of panel cuts i've ever seen, and i havn't got a clue what tools you use to get something looking like that-the only thing i can think of is a waterjet or a laser cutter, and i'm damn sure he hasn't used those. Anyone who thinks they know how this was done, please post. I think we can all learn something here, cos those cuts, well, they're just damn good.

hi friend, thank you for having liked, I use only the Dremel to do the cuts, I also use a series of sandpapers and drills to give the finish.

that is the most well done case ive seen in a while. how much would u charge to make me 3 60 mm fan grills with a nuclear theme? i am being seriously

Thank you friend, I would make the grills for you friend, but I think it would not be worthwhile because I am of Brazil and the taxes to order they for you would be very high...

I like the tribal theme of the case. Are you using a regular rotary tool to cut the designs?

Thank you friend, I only used the same dremel to do the cuts, I prefer to use only her same, I don't like other types of tools find them very rude for that work type.

Wow, you actually reponded to each reply individually. That's some love there man. I don't know what sort of voodoo magic you use to make a drememl cut like that, but my Hat is off to your talents. Are you using a cutting disc, a jigsaw attachment, or some different drill bit? A photo of your method would be amazing if you got the chance.

Thanks for coming back and solving the riddle for me, i couldn't sleep for trying to figure out how you cut so smooth. Hope to learn from you ;)

Tks DaveW, me that I am happy with the comments rsss, on the cut techniques, I only use Dremel and cut disks, those disks are of a material called carborundum, they are of use odontológico, but they are not different in anything of the disk of the dremel, but like me I work with dental prosthesis then for me to cut am easier hehehe, I will photograph the drills that I use for polishing and finish and I will put here.

Here it is going also some innovations of my project, I decided to change place PSU, for the fact of he/she doesn't have a lot of space for the acrylic in the superior part.

Finally I come to bring innovations for you, I was without time of continuing with project, but now I am with more time, then we are going the new modifications.

good that skull actually later will turn two, they will be the front grills of my cabinet, where he/she will have the coolers to pull the air outside inside of the it marries, I will also make another grill, very complicated now, for the hole of the cooler of the source, as I spoke to me will build a " door " for the stalls of Cd-rom, and also to do some details in front of PC, on the feet still doesn't have anything to speak on (I am not still worrying about them no) the focus now and the front of the it case.

what do you meanw hen you say "rss"?
nice work there man... from what i can see, you are a dentist, so you would have one of them uber dremels... and smaller, but harder cutting disks...
better work then id ever be able to do though... nice

The " rsss " mean laughters, although here in Brazil almost nobody uses ehhehehe

Thank you for the comment, I am not a dentist, but I work with dental prosthesis, and in the laboratory we have personal micromotores a lot similar to a Dremel, already and a good one trains hehehe dial them me use the same of the laboratory, because they don't lose in anything for the originals of Dremel and they are still cheaper.

ok cool. I just didn't want you putting down his work only because he has 9 posts. No matter how many posts a person has they deserve the metaphorical pat on the back for work

Wow, I just found this mod and the work is amazing, keep up the great work my orthodontic brazillian friend! Just goes to show you what a little patience and time will get you.

One question, what did you use to bend that sheetmetal so cleanly? I tried to make a duct like that myself out of thin aluminum, what did you use to bend it? Great work!

Tks jreffy, I work with dental prosthesis :D didn't use anything to bend, therefore the aluminum is very fine (1mm) I only made a small mark with the dremel and I bent using the hand even, tk friend liked the comment a lot

returning my worklog, I will show the front of the project.

I had made a front different from this, but I committed a mistake when trying to do the mold in plaster, then I decided to change the front drawing, I think this was better.
http://img479.imageshack.us/img479/7150/dscf1660dd1.jpg

here and my work place, very tight
http://img484.imageshack.us/img484/6817/dscf1661br0.jpg

re-começando o trabalho todo ¬¬
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/9301/dscf1663qj6.jpg

here a picture of as it was the course, a ready side and the other almost finishing, that after some 3 hours
http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/7458/dscf1667tl0.jpg

general vision of the whole thing
(sentence without any sense heehehe)
http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/6499/dscf1685zq5.jpg

the part of the wax is finished, now we will make the negative form of this whole wax.

here and as I decided to do, I divided the front in 4 parts, my previous mistake went to try to do everything at once the front didn't simply leave the plaster, I had to break everything. of this it sorts things out that I did leaves perfectly.
http://img486.imageshack.us/img486/3893/dscf1686ly0.jpg

filling with plaster, I used plaster special type IV.
http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/6113/dscf1687gb7.jpg

after some 2 hours drying, mold negative leaves with the whole wax in him
http://img472.imageshack.us/img472/5813/dscf1688eo8.jpg

http://img477.imageshack.us/img477/2172/dscf1692vl0.jpg

now that the mold loosened and hour of doing the "cover" she will be with the front format, that guarantees the fitting of the pieces in front of the case
http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/3261/dscf1693ew1.jpg

after the ready "cover" and hour of removing the whole wax.
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/9333/dscf1695ie8.jpg

molds and their covers:
http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/1761/dscf1696cd8.jpg

the tribal of some of the lateral ones:
http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/8799/dscf1697uw2.jpg

and his "cover":
http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/7228/dscf1699qp5.jpg

now the wax transformation for acrylic:
http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/9968/dscf1712to8.jpg

closing the form, will have to press the cover against the form the more possible fort, then I used the chair to do this force in my place hehehehe
http://img364.imageshack.us/img364/6929/dscf1713kd2.jpg

hello friends, I delayed a time, but I am back, and with innovations, the project this steering for the end.
