Pretty nice man, I'd personally go with a cleaner wiring, but I suppose since you don't have a side window it's not that big of a deal. Looks great regardless!

I just got them parts in there. still have to repack the cables up in the 5.25" bays to get them out of the way.

But i've got it at about a 30% reduction in cable clutter lol.

Screwed the landing up on the first heatsink.. haha but its a one shot deal with that thermal tape.

They stopped making the Vento 3600 awhile ago. At least the black,blue and green ones. lol i've been holding onto this vento since 2004.

Yea i seen it, looks amazing & Your inside is way neater then mine is. I'm always changing parts in and out of here every year or so, gave up the uber cable management about 3 complete hardware exchanges ago.


Only had that video card in there for a couple weeks, cpu and mainboard since about February hahahha.


If i've got time tomorrow i'll clean them cables up and post some "bedroom sheet background" pictures and call it a day.

That foam really does work great as sound insulation, made absolutely no difference on temperatures (didn't get any warmer)

wow where did you sell it?online?5770 is good..that was my plan,but unfortunately i was out of budget to afford that card so 8800GTS my second choice and bought it..my friend also told me that 5850 or 5970 was better..but it cost a lot more bucks..:)

XFX was best in aesthetics and in performance..:)

Craigslist, yea 5850 was something like 100$ more then this 5770. and im pretty much holding out on a newer Geforce 400 series once it matures a little bit.

5770 was a hell of alot better match for the 955, then my 8800GTS SSC KO was.

Yea that Evga is a 8800GTS SSC edition with 112 Cores instead of the standard 96 cores.. it's a non + edition 9800GTX in disguise.

5770 is roughly 4,800 points faster then the 8800SSC in 3dmark 2006, and pumps about 20 more frames a second on the newer games.

oddly enough the 8800SSC kicks its butt in the older d3d9/dx9 games.

Some of those fans are 110v AC, others are standard 12v DC, so the BIG fans are run off of wall outlet power and not the computer.

yea works well for 110v fans.

Radio volume knobs from a home stereo work for 12v fans. just beware of the ampearge your running through the potentiometer (maybe its a rheostat?)

Yea i've got to get in there and really secure them to the front intakes, they just sort of sit in there right now so anytime i go and clean the dust off from the computer (attracts dust like a demon) i'll bump those CCFL's sorta on accident, there sitting straight right now but i'm sure i'll bump them again.

thinking VHB will solve the problem. or hot glue.

It is weird some people on the internet will think the case is weird or strange. but everyone at lan parties or that comes over and sees it thinks its wickedly cool. and everyone always says "that looks like ____" or "that's seems like its a ____" darth vader,MMT from starwars, vaccum cleaner, space ship, bullet train i've heard some strange ones but everyone always say it looks like anything but a computer

last time i moved the cable guy came and asked if it was a piece of contemporary art.. once i poped the front lid and he saw the CD/DVD rom he knew it was a computer... haha he said " I didn't know they made computers like that"

While its not really super Moded, its a extremely rare case. it'd sorta be like cutting some holes in a Ferrari at this point, i'd just trash the value if i went and cut to many holes into it. besides i personally think its a sweet design as it stands and just wanted to bring its features and stuff out a little bit and make it how i personally wanted it to be.

specifically some 4.5v multi color LED lights i found at wal-mart for 7.99$

Supposed to run on three C cell batteries, but a small resistor and a piece of wire fixed it!

working on rummaging up a relay and a rectifier so it'll blink and fade with the rest of the lights
