So i finally am getting around to backing up all my program installers, classic games, and other old ISO's backed up. meaning i have them copied, gathered, compressed, and eating up about 1/4 of my main hard drive, and i tried to burn them to a DVD with windows 7 using the drop and drag method that i always used with my mac. It works fine for about 50-70% of the burn. then it freezes and stays frozen on that point until i just give up and abort the operation.... forcefully  any help that dosnt require me to transfer every file to my mac in order to burn the data would be extremely helpful. oh... and as always the free solution is the best one!

Try to defrag your hard drive. :)

Oh My bad! I misunderstood the original post! I use Imgburn also, and recommend it as well. :) I didnt catch the ISO part, just the failing burns.

My suggestion to defrag is relevant for buffer underrun issues during burning.
