http://i587.photobucket.com/albums/ss312/Mark_Hardware/100_3377.jpg

Sorry, for some reason I failed to get shot of all that hardware before putting it together.

Also included but not pictured;
Koolance 360mm radiator, (to replace the one in my exos unit)
new couches,
A kick-ass surround sound system (no, not the one in the rca box. That went back immediately)
29 ga and 20 ga tanks,
filter systems for the 210 tank (those my friends are not cheap. Two canister filters rated for 265 ga tanks each, plus a 13 watt pond UV sterilizer and pump for that),
various accessories for ps3, surround sound system, etc,
and a bunch of other crap not worth mentioning.

For a moment I thought you must be some sort of drug baron but then realized Tax Claus = Tax Return.

Nice new stuff Mark :D .

I got a couple of new things too :D.

Finally got around to buying an airbrush kit & basic colours so I can mix to get the colour I want, time to get heaps of practice in over the coming months :), cheapo stuff until I get ok at it, then I'll consider getting a good airbrush.
Please excuse the multiple pictures, all unedited also just to show what it can do, I'm just excited about no noise in the dark pictures and want to show it off lol :D .

Because I was quite impressed with my dads new cheapo kodak camera I bought a higher model, a kodak z950 £140 cheapest I could find it in uk and it turned out the place I bought it from imports them so have been waiting since 17-feb, it is far superior to the olympus hand me down I used throughout air cube v2 :).
Had a good mess about with the different manual settings, plenty of controls, taken some pictures all indoors with bad lighting as I wanted to see if noise levels were good or bad in dimly lit places, I'm very happy with darkness in the pictures :) simply can't afford to jump into quality dslr land so this camera will do very nicely :).
Anything I make in the future will be much better photographed, I'm going to make a nice big soft light box on the cheap & use a lamp with a daylight bulb & have a rotational platform to catch all angles.
I beleive it was Xion X2 with his perfect presentation in reflexion mostly that inspired me in taking the time to capture what I'm shooting as it should look, cheers Xion X2 :).

First mini project for the airbrush is paint the fans, but not before I play some heavy rain :), the demo was surprisingly great, really pulls you in, an evolved fahrenheight game, nice :), only got a ps3 for it's exclusives and not been a bit disapointed with it.

http://i433.photobucket.com/albums/qq59/waynio_2008/100_0092.jpg

I'm having a possibly silly idea of making a big gaming stack system to hold my supercooled xbox 360 with a real psu instead of power brick, then the ps3 cooled from underneath whenever it needs a cool down and my pc on the top, these are rough sketchups without panels, just the frame.

I wish I could cut down my blah blah blah a bit, I doubt anyone is interested lol, pictures more pictures, less blah :D.

I would like to try my hand at airbrushing one of these days... But seeing as how I suck at painting in general I'm sure I would fail at that too lol

@ BG, I have 6 kids and I'm the only one that works. So I'm broke as hell all year. But come Janurary, well, I just seem to really love my kids.

The other 11 months they are a pain in my arse.

Haha.. I was going to say that for you @ the "must have alot of dependants" comment. :D

I've got 2 kids, and that's hard enough to get anything done around the house, let alone modding.

yeah with work at 60 hours a week, and school right now being about 20 hours a week, I am tapped out. It's really unfortunate, because I haven't done squat to my mod in ages now. Ho hum

Hmm, my wife and I got a pretty nice return. We paid off about $1500 in her student loans, then we put $1000 into savings, and $500 into our checking. Despite having quite a bit of money in savings, we sure to live like we're poor and have zero money to spare.

That said, I've been saving for quite a bit and I've been selling some stuff. I should have about $2500 soon for me to buy some bicycles for my wife and I and so some other stuff. Here's what I'm considering.

Two bicycles between $500-1000 each, closer to the $5-700 range though.

A UPS for my computer $180. Less needed now that some power issues have been resolve, but I still kinda want one.

Another drafting table $150. I have one as a computer desk. I would like another for drafting and projects.

A turbo for my 50cc motorcycle $240. The tinkerer in me wants to get it, but I know that I would have to get some special machined parts and what not to make this work, but I want to do it. It's a hard decision. Also on the list in this category would be a new head and cylinder ($360) with a 12:1 compression ratio instead of the 8:1 or so I have now. My 50cc needs more powah!!!

Metal DDR pads. I loved the game in high school and it kept me skinny, but I went through pads like crazy, which I hated. Getting two metal pads would cost $220, which is cheap enough that I would rather buy than build, and they should last a lot longer. Hard to store . . . probably won't happen.

Parts for the Couch of BOOM! Would cost about $700 total to build. It would be a bigger project than some of the others, and I would need to be motivated to finish. Maybe it will happen this summer.

The bikes are going to happen. There are some nice ones that I've been looking at. What will probably happen with the rest is that I will not buy anything with it and put it in savings. YEAH!

@ D, yeah I was going to get a UPS, but the day I went to get it they were sold out. Just my luck. Oh well. I also didn't end up getting a laptop after all, which kinda sucks too.

And BG, w...t....F....? lol
