Hello all
The card = 256mb
Ok so a PC that i've acquired has one of these cards. It has a DVI and a HDMI out, so would it be possible to use two DVI monitors - one being plugged into the DVI and another via a HDMI to DVI connector.
Thanks in advance, don't actually have two DVI monitors at current so can't just try it myself XD

google is your friend. :) short answer is according to ATI, yes the 3400 series supports 2 displays.

I typed in ati hd 3450 dual monitor in google and lo and behold, ATI's product spec page (http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-3000/hd-3400/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-3400-specifications.aspx) for the 3400 series pulled up ;)

if you are still in doubt, you can always shoot ati's customer support or your card manufacturer's an email.

My understanding is that any GPU with multiple ouputs can drive multiple displays. I think the only exception is if there are multiple "tv level" outputs, ie Component, Svideo, etc.. you could only drive one tv output at a time.

We have an Asus mobo here with VGA and DVI outputs.. I wonder if I can drive two displays at once with the onboard graphics.. hmm..
