Need tips on finding red-led-colored bay drive stuff?

I'm building a cherry wooden computer case,and cherry is a nice red colored wood....


...yet I'm having trouble finding strictly the bay devices that have red leds,and not blue..or green ones...

....why are items such as this

........rarely have red leds?


can i mod the led screens..and lights and replace them with red?

or is not recommended?

I don't know if the screen itself can be modded, and truth be told I don't think that is easily can, but I will tell you that the blue leds around the dials can be swapped out if you're handy with a soldering iron and solder sucker.
