View Full Version : Computer restart while installing Graphics Driver?

Just got my new system up and running. I had to upgrade from 2000pro to get it to work cause my xp disk won't boot for some reason.
Anyhoo i was trying to install my Radeon HD5670 and it keeps shutting down in the middle of installing the driver?
Any ideas?

Also for some reason my motherboard isn't getting the HD audio Bus and usb drivers when i install everything. It's a Asus M4A77TD.

It could be a whole number of things, but the first thing I'd try is updating the BIOS.

Installed SP3 and all the sudden it worked. Dunno why just did.
Think i should still flash the BIOS?

If you're not having any problems now, then a BIOS update is unnecessary.
